The "LUITMAR" is one of the most exciting, curious, yet successful German red wine cuvées. Countless appearances in the final of the German Red Wine Award and a 1st place attest to high, qualitative continuity. The cuvée has a composition that is not entirely typical for the Pfalz. Four grape varieties from France, Italy, Austria, and Germany are united in it. Alongside the traditional varieties Blaufränkisch, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Saint Laurent, the rare Sangiovese grape for Germany is involved, for which original Brunello clones were imported to Germany. A brilliant red with impressive elegance. Intense wild berry aromas are complemented by subtle coffee and chocolate notes. A touch of Christmas spices rounds it off, white pepper provides the great wow factor. Powerful, but no green tannins provide the necessary bite and a long lifespan.
